Who uses it. Only Joey Hamer, on his own Mac, with his own Google account.
What Google data it accesses. Only files that JoeA Backup itself creates in Joey's Google Drive (the drive.file scope). It cannot read, list or change any other Drive files, email, contacts or calendar.
What it stores there. Encrypted backup data (restic format). The data is encrypted on Joey's Mac before upload; the key never leaves his Mac. Google stores only encrypted bytes.
Sharing. Nothing is shared with anyone, sold, used for advertising, or used to train models. No analytics or tracking. This website sets no cookies.
Retention and deletion. Backups are kept and pruned by Joey's own retention policy. Revoke access any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; deleting the backup folder in Drive removes the data.
Google API Services User Data Policy. JoeA Backup's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
